Born a mixture of Chamorro, Filipino, Hawaiian and Japanese heritage, she has spent the past twenty-three years living on Maui. Immersing herself in the culture, Marsha has learned and continues to draw from the experience and knowledge she has gained over the years.
 
For more than twenty five years, Marsha has been involved  in many different aspects of photography. Studio, portrait, weddings & commitment ceremonies (from Japanese ceremonies to her trademark sunset weddings), cultural documentation, professional print work and corporate Events.
 
Marsha gets inside her work to capture the inner,  as well as the outer, beauty. Her professional, yet easy going attitude make for more than a pleasant photo shoot, and the results are quite visible. She definitely can put at ease, even the most anxious bride, so only her beauty is portrayed in the photos. Marsha has established many long-standing relationships with numerous wedding coordinators with whom she continues to collaborate.
 
For the past three years Marsha has been traveling between Maui and California  She has over this time done Location and print work, private parties, cultural events and, of course, weddings .
 
Marsha often travels between California and Maui and is available for events in either locale. In California she has a private studio in Redondo Beach.
 
When she doesn't  have a camera in her hands, she designs and works on ipu pawehe (decorated gourds) with Hawaiian designs and patterns.
 
Whether you are wanting an annual family portrait, planning a wedding, or want to preserve memories of a special celebration, Marsha's ability to capture the moment in print will transport you back to that exact moment at every glance.
